My name is Nico. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved to USA 20 years ago. I spent over two decades in the finance industry in NYC. I started working in Wall Street at the age of 17 as an intern for a big bank. I always wanted to be a pilot, but unfortunately I like to make money. So I eventually build this sim to satisfy my love for commercial jets. I am not a real world pilot nor I intend to be one. I feel extremely blessed to have this incredible machine in my home in Manhattan to escape the stresses of life.
I am extremely fortunate to share my adventures with all of you. There is no need to subscribe. However, as a Tier 1 sub you do get some perks:
The 737-800 cockpit is comprised of several OEM parts that were retrofitted and interfaced by an European professional simulator manufacturer. All components connect to Prosim 737 via Ethernet cable or USB 3.0. Under the hood of this sim, there is no spaghetti cables and troubleshooting is seamless via remote Access from flight engineers.
The motion platform was a custom design by Motion For Simulators. It is a 6 DoF platform with a payload capacity of 3,500 Kg (3.5 tons). The motion controller is a level D unit manufactured by Schneider Electric and all 6 actuators are also manufactured by Schneider in Germany. The platform was installed by the MFS crew that flew from Belgium to NYC for a week.
The latest version of P3D is used ONLY for the scenery. There is no aircraft in P3D. The flight model runs outside the sim in a client PC using all of the latest ProSim 737 Commercial version modules. This sim has the OFFICIAL BOEING 737-800 WINGLETS data package. So the flight Dynamics are NOT from P3D. They replicate the real aircraft just like any Level D sim.
