My name is Anthony Calabrese and I'm 30 years old. I'm a full-time Twitch streamer and I speedrun The Last of Us on its hardest difficulty (grounded mode). I was in college for 3 years at Rutgers for meteorology, but it just didn't work out. Here's a playlist of all the weather forecasts I did there if you want proof: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlU6ylFt9c6EBtiX-GlcR0T6gSe4n9t6D. I moved away from home and was roommates with another twitch streamer (SAX_PAYNE) for a while in Roebling, New Jersey. I spent almost 3 years there and now I have my own apartment in Washington, New Jersey. It was at college in early 2014 that I discovered twitch and I fell in love with it. I just knew this is what I want to do for a living.
Subscribing not only helps support me, but for only $5/month you also get access to these special perks:
There's also the $10 and $25 sub options which give you an extra emote per tier and helps support me even more. Also if you have an amazon prime account, you can connect it to your twitch account right Here and get twitch prime for free. With twitch prime, you can sub to a channel for free and get all the benefits of a $5 sub. Special thanks to TheSneakyBros and Mori for making my sub badges and emotes for me.
I do this full-time so donations are greatly appreciated, but they are never expected or asked for. They will go towards improving the stream as well as paying my bills and living expenses. You can either click the "Donate" banner above or you can click right Here. Thanks so much for the support.
Below are all of my speed games, times, and rankings. Click the categories and it will take you to the video of the run. You can also click the "BEST TIMES" banner above and that will take you to my speedrun.com profile. It also shows my games/times, but in a more organised way.
I start some time between 4:30pm and 5:00pm EST. and I try to be on for at least 5 hours. I usually take off Thursday as well. That mid-week break allows me a brief recharge for the remainder of the week. I've been running TLOU for 5.5 years so that little break is very beneficial for me. That off day will either be a full day off or something besides TLOU runs that I mentioned above. I also always take a day off the day after I get a world record in TLOU so people have a chance to watch it. If I take a day off even though I'm scheduled to go live that day, I'll announce it on my Discord and Twitter.
A: I missed out on the entire PS3 generation of gaming (I bought a Wii instead). My old college roommate brought his PS3 to our off campus apartment in September of 2013 and that was my first time seeing it. I had never even heard of it before then. He was at the hotel basement when I first saw the game and I started asking questions about it. I got my own PS3 with TLOU a few months later, right when the PS4's first released. It actually took me about 16 hours to finish it on my first playthrough. I started speedrunning it about a year after that (around October 2014). I've honestly lost count how many times I've beaten the game. If I had to guess, combining both casual playthroughs and speedruns, I'd say I've beaten the game around 700 times, and seen the intro around 8,000 times.
A: It's just a quirk of mine. No real reason. Just wanna keep the thumbs loose.
A: Nope. Twitch streaming is my full-time job. I've tried juggling twitch and other jobs in the past and it didn't go well. And even though it's probably not the smartest decision monetary-wise, I'd rather do what I love everyday than make a little more money doing something else that I probably won't enjoy.
A: I'm a HUGE fan of Metal Gear, Jak and Daxter, Grand Theft Auto, Uncharted, Mario, and a bunch more that I can't think of.
A: Well there's a lot of them. Believe it or not, I've never played a Zelda, Sonic, Mega-Man, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Assassin's Creed, or Elder Scrolls game before in my entire life.
A: That's not a question.
